Hi Girls,

Eye make-up is  sometimes  a problem area for me, maybe because I have to take my glasses off to apply it.

I always seem to get mascara in the corner of my eye and eye liner never seems to want to go in a straight line.

Has any one got a sure fire way of putting these items on?

If you have some tips I am all ears.

Hi Carole

I have heard about glasses that can be purchased that allow the lenses to swivel down independently. So you can look through the left lens to put makeup on your right eye etc. Where you get these glasses I don't know maybe someone else can help.

Hi Carole,It's taking me a while to get used to this new-fangled site.For your eye liner, have you tried the felt-tip ones. They are not so harsh on the eye and easy to apply. (Nikki talks about softening her pencil by licking it ... no comment!)As for the mascara, I can't tell you which to use - there are so many and everyone has their own favourite, but it's best to start from 3/4 the way across the eye and work outwards, but don't go right into the corner. Leave the mascara to dry, then use the tiniest bit of mascara on the your comb or brush just for finishing the corner.LoveBarbara

Thanks for the tips Girls,

I find with eye make-up that one day it looks great and another (well least said).  Have tried all types of eye liner from pens to normal pencils, also tried the Nikki method.

I can see without my glasses a bad worklady always blames her tools.  Anyway dressing today so will report back after using the tips.

Thanks to Babs,

The tip about the mascara work well and the Nikki method worked fin with the eye liner.  i find warring glasses that any problems just get enlarged.

Hi Carole,

Late getting back, as usual, but I've now got a new PC and it's easier to use, so I should be around more!

Glad the tip about the mascara and Nikki's licking method worked. Do you use different colours? You could get away with most shades as you  are getting the application right.
